JAP TRADING, s.r.o. employs an expert team that provides consulting services in metallurgy, especially in the field of optimum use of graphite electrodes, ferro-alloys and refractory materials.

JAP TRADING, s.r.o. offers to its clients the repair of damaged graphite electrodes. As part of the repair, new threads are milled and electrodes are equipped with new nipples. The repair also includes non-destructive measuring of internal parameters of refurbished electrodes and nipples (density, resistance, bending strength). The company also offers purchasing of unrecoverable graphite electrodes and other graphite scrap.

Since 2000 the company has been briquetting, using its own equipment, ferro-alloys and other dusty inorganic fines. Currently, we have four presses with total monthly capacity of 4,300 t. The company offers its customers briquetting of fines, including a proposal for suitable bonding agents and technology procedure.

Company also offer refurbishing of casting ladle sliding gates through hired labour or purchase of used gates.

Thanks to its storage capacity and a logistics team the company can provide a comprehensive solution for just-in-time deliveries to all countries all over the world as well as customs services for the EU.
